Created by Derek Strine, Event Ocala covers 80 acres of manicured land and boasts 150 cross country fences on 49 acres, turf and footed show jumping arenas, dressage arenas, and a free jump chute for YEH and breed inspections.
Since the grand opening in 2019, Event Ocala, formerly called BarnStaple, has hosted various clinics and seminars including the USEA Educational Symposium, FEH and YEH qualifying events, and USEA sanctioned events from Beginner Novice through Preliminary divisions, along with schooling shows and dressage "Fix-A-Tests".

no registration required. Schooling is limited for the week leading up to recognized shows.
cross country course
Our 49 acre Cross Country field includes 150 jumps and is irrigated and regularly aerated. Portable jumps are moved several times per month and permanent obstacles include a 100x160 water complex, five banks, multiple ditches, multiple coffins, complexes, amongst others.
dressage & show jumping arenas
We have multiple dressage and show jumping arenas that are both turf and footed, regularly aerated, and turf includes organic topsoil for enhanced cushion.
